Karen graduated from the North Texas School of Swedish Massage in 2008 and created Bodywork Unbound in 2013. Her focus is overall pain relief and has an extensive knowledge of anatomy.
She is a NYS Licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist through NCBTMB, certified in Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Orthopedic Massage, Thai Herbal Compress Massage, Post Surgical Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy and she is a Certified Ashiatsu DeepFeet Therapist.
Karen is also Rochester's first Ashiatsu Instructor and only DeepFeet Instructor in NYS among other CEU classes she teaches.
She is motivated by her clients and the energy they bring her as she continues to strive to improve her practice.
Karen is also a Certified Permanent Makeup Artist specializing in Microblading and an Electrologist treating all clients and areas of hair removal.
